RTBGo App Launching Ceremony

Like other regional and international broadcasting agencies, Radio Television Brunei, RTB as the government’s voice has launched RTBGo application. The new app is the latest platform for the department to deliver information and development of Brunei Darussalam in line with the vision and mission of RTB. Speaking during the launching ceremony of RTBGo Application at Onecity Shopping Centre in Jalan Salambigar, Awang Muhammad Zulkarnain bin Haji Brahim @ Ahmad, Assistant Head of TV Programme, RTB as the chairperson of the ceremony among others explained that RTBGo is using the over-the-top, OTT service as one of the alternative measures for conventional broadcasting to reach a wider scope of audience. It can be accessed via the internet anywhere and everywhere.
It was launched by Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Permanent Secretary for Civil Service, Welfare, International and Media at the Prime Minister’s Office. Prior to this, since the 1st of September 2019, RTBGo can only be accessed via website at ‘www.rtbgo.bn’. It can be downloaded from the App Store for iOS users and through Google Play for Android users. Also in attendance were Awang Haji Muhammad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Civil Service, Welfare, International and Media at the Prime Minister’s Office AND Awang Haji Azman bin Haji Abdul Rahim, Acting Director of RTB.
